As a new Cougar, you have the opportunity to enhance your collegiate experience before classes even begin! Camp P.R.O.W.L gives students, like you, a memorable experience designed to focus on student success in the transition from high school to college. This four day, three night camp will engage students in a fun and energizing program that creates an exciting entrance into the first year at CSU.

Day one of P.R.O.W.L kicks off with residential students moving into their rooms and commuter students joining us in the Student Recreation Center to begin the P.R.O.W.L experience. Following move-in, the university will provide transportation to Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center, located in Covington, GA. ALL STUDENTS are required to take university transportation. No personal vehicles will be permitted.

Residential Students: Beat the congestion of Move In Day and come early!   Residence Life will allow Camp P.R.O.W.L participants to move into their residence halls prior to Move In Day. During the program, lodging at an off campus site will be provided. All PROWL PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE EARLY MOVE INTO THEIR RESIDENCE HALL *Additional move in details will be provided to Camp PROWL participants via university email. *
Commuter Students: All first year students are welcome, so join us in the Student Recreation Center to kick off the day. Off - site housing accommodations will be provided for all participants.
During P.R.O.W.L: While at camp students stay in cabins with air conditioning, showers, and restrooms. Our camp itinerary is highly structured with scheduled free time throughout the experience.
Once you arrive at Camp P.R.O.W.L , you will be placed in a small group with a Pack leader. This Pack Leader is a trained CSU student who will bond with you and fellow classmates as you engage in challenging activities.

 Activities are designed to help students learn leadership skills that will help them successfully navigate through their first-year at Columbus State University, while promoting a lifelong bond among fellow attendees. Attendees learn how to effectively utilize their strengths as an individual, as well as within a group. Students participate in a challenge course, explore personal qualities, and learn the do's and don'ts of successfully navigating into their collegiate experience. We accomplish all of this in unique ways that ignite pride for Columbus State University.

WHO CAN ATTEND: P.R.O.W.L is for any Columbus State University First Year student. P.R.O.W.L registration is on a first come, first serve basis and a limited number of spots available. The Office of Orientation will make every effort to accommodates as many students as possible.

CAMP REGISTRATION FEE: The all-inclusive price is $200 per student. Payment is due in full before July 15, 2017 to complete the registration process. The registration fee includes: round-trip bus transportation to and from Covington, GA; lodging and meals for the duration of camp; a Camp P.R.O.W.L t-shirt, and a special keepsake to remind you of your experience! *No refunds are issued for P.R.O.W.L*

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: If you have special accommodations, please inform us in the "Special Accommodations" section of the registration process. If these accommodations are not mentioned at the time of registration, P.R.O.W.L cannot guarantee any special arrangements can be made.
